Bottle Filling Process

Bottling & Beverage Line Decontamination

High-Speed Bottling Hygiene. Zero Water Residue. Maximum Line Uptime

In fast-moving bottling and beverage packaging operations, maintaining strict hygiene standards against sticky syrup buildup, sugar crusting, adhesive overspray, and microbial threats is critical to profitability. Traditional washdowns create dangerous liquid runoff around high-speed sensors, demand hours of drying time, and risk cross-contamination. Vortex Ice Lab delivers an advanced, eco-friendly cryogenic decontamination service that strips stubborn beverage residue, adhesives, and biofilms from active packaging lines—completely moisture-free and without chemical contamination.

Keeping a modern bottling line running at peak throughput requires surgical cleanliness across every station, from filler valves and capper heads to star wheels, labelers, and conveyor tracks. However, interrupting production to perform labor-intensive manual scraping or wet washdowns leads to costly downtime, introduces unwanted humidity, and risks shorting out sensitive optical sensors, pneumatic actuators, and electronic control panels.

Vortex Ice Labs eliminates the trade-off between speed and sanitation. Utilizing food-grade dry ice pellets at -78.5°C, our process thermally shocks and instantly shatters baked-on sugars, glue overspray, grime, and grease from intricate packaging machinery in situ—with no need to tear down complex assemblies. Because our high-output mobile division operates with complete autonomy—powered by dedicated onboard diesel compressors and independent power—we deploy directly to your facility during scheduled maintenance windows, restoring your bottling lines to clinical standards without drawing a single drop of factory water or electricity.

The Dry Ice Advantage

100% Moisture-Free (Protects High-Speed Electronics & Sensors)

Microbial Sanitisation on Contact & Zero Secondary Waste

Non-Abrasive Cleaning for Precision Tooling & Labeling Equipment

Because dry ice sublimates into a dry gas on contact, there is zero liquid water generated during the clean. You can safely clean proximity sensors, encoder systems, digital control panels, and electric drive motors directly while installed, eliminating short circuits, wiring corrosion, and the long dry-out delays associated with pressure washing.

At -78.5°C, cryogenic blasting kills surface bacteria, mold spores, yeast, and biofilm on contact, creating a hygienic environment essential for beverage production. Furthermore, because the dry ice pellets simply evaporate back into atmospheric gas, there is no messy blast media or chemical slurry to clean up—only the dry, dislodged contaminant to sweep up.

Unlike abrasive blast media or harsh metal scrapers, dry ice pellets are soft and non-abrasive. We can repeatedly clean delicate aluminum capper heads, stainless steel filler nozzles, polished star wheels, and rubber conveyor belts without causing pitting, surface wear, or mechanical misalignment, preserving the operational lifespan of your high-capital machinery.
